No Waste

According to the National Center for Independent Information on Waste, each French person produces 354 kilograms of household waste each year. A figure that is chilling, knowing that waste also concerns furniture, clothing or energy. Reducing your waste is a gesture for the planet while making great savings. Because we have everything to gain, here are all our anti-waste tips

Food: our anti-waste tips

While famine is still rampant in some parts of the world, we throw away several kilos of food every year.

To avoid this waste, it is imperative to better manage daily meals by planning meals and making a shopping list.

In stores, don't be tempted by promotional lots. Be aware of best-before dates, but don't abuse them.

If you are planning a roast chicken for dinner and the chickens are on a "short date" promotion, go for it!

If you have leftovers, know that they can be frozen or cooked for the next meal. So don't throw them away!

In general, choose seasonal products that taste better and last longer. And don't buy food that you won't use.

Zero waste goal thanks to recycling

Recycling is a civic act that you should honor. The municipalities and local authorities are implementing many means to reduce waste and optimize recycling.

It is up to you to sort your waste and sometimes to take it away, to recycle your green waste, your batteries, your medicines and anything else that cannot be put in the garbage.

You should know that household appliance stores and supermarkets offer to take back your broken products in order to recycle them.

For furniture and crockery, you can call on associations that come directly to your home to get rid of the goods to be donated.

Finally, in every town and village, there are now containers to give your old clothes and shoes to the most needy.

Our anti-waste tips to save energy

Waste also affects energy, and on this point, there are great savings to be made.
